Who we are
This website is operated by STRIDE Venture ("STRIDE", "we", "us"), a business advisory, organisational development, training and experiential learning firm founded and led by Naomi Suubi Kigondu. Website: www.strideventure.org.

What this policy covers
How we collect, use and protect personal information when you use this website or contact us. We aim to follow the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 and, where it applies to you, other data protection law.
Information we collect
- Enquiry details. If you use the contact form, the details you enter: your name, email address, the topic you pick and your message.
- Messages you send us directly by WhatsApp, email, Facebook or Instagram, including the details you choose to share.
- Theme preference. Your light or dark choice is saved in your own browser. It is not sent to us.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this website, and we do not ask you for more information than we need to reply to you.
How we use it and why
- To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask, to discuss our services. Our basis is your consent, given when you tick the consent box on the form, and steps you ask us to take before an agreement.
- To keep records of our dealings with you and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your information and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers we use to receive and store messages (for example email and messaging platforms), and where the law requires. When you choose to contact us through WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram or Gmail, that provider handles your data under its own policy. Some of these providers are based outside Kenya, so your information may be transferred abroad.
How long we keep it
For as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting work, and afterwards only as long as the law or our legitimate record-keeping needs require. Then we delete it.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, object to its use or withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect what we did before. Contact us using the details above. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner in Kenya (www.odpc.go.ke).
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure.
Children
This website is for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
